The Story of Kyakitanga Worship Center
In 2011, our partner ministry, UCOM, sent a mission team to Kyakitanga to host a crusade with a mission team from the US. We rejoiced over the thirty new believers who joined together to form Kyakitanga Worship Center by the end of the week.
First, they met in a classroom at the school. Then an an open-air structure was raised when church members donated sheet metal for the roof. We rejoiced when the brick structure was raised in 2016. It has had unfinished brick walls, bare dirt floors, and open windows until last month. We are over joyed that a finished church will be ready to celebrate their 10-year anniversary when churches reopen in October. It will be a double celebration!
