What is the value of being lifted out of the dirt?
Our students would say it is a priceless gift that instills a sense of worth and dignity.
Since the primary school opened in 2007,
meals had been cooked over a fire
and children sat on the ground to eat.
The magnificent Multipurpose Dining Hall
was completed in May
What a difference a day makes
when people from half the world away
give to say that “You're Worth It!”
One day the children ate their porridge in the dirt as they have done for 14 years. But on May 19, our students began sitting proudly at tables being served from a sanitary kitchen with stainless steel countertops. Dignity is a priceless gift.
This project was funded by our 2019 Capital Campaign contributors. Thank you for the pride, self-respect, and love you have given to our children!
